The LWV of the Helena Area invites all Helena Area (Helena, East Helena and Montana City) middle- and high-school students to participate in this year's essay contest. The theme is Our Unique Montana Constitution. Entries are due May 31, 2022.

Heather Grenier, CEO/President of HRDC, will be speaking to us about the programs and activities of HRDC, with a primary focus on their new development, Community First Griffin Place. This meeting will be held via Zoom, from 11:45 to 1 p.m.
Susan Dana will be speaking to the Bozeman League on the legal limits on government regulation of online speech and discuss the constitutionality of various proposals to regulate harmful online speech.
At our regular League meeting on December 13th at 11:45AM Nick Ehli will be speaking on the current state of journalism in Montana and the United States.
