The League of Women Voters of Pocatello presented the first of two Legislative Forums with three of their six representatives in Districts 28 and 29. On January 6th, District 28 Representative Kevin Andrus, District 29 Representative Dustin Manwaring and District 29 Representative James Ruchti discussed their expectations and views on upcoming legislative issues and bills. They also addressed the immediate state of the Nation in light of the escalating events that were occurring at the U.S. Capital.  

After each Legislator presented their perspectives, the League of Women Voters moderator presented questions that had previously been submitted. These questions included such topics as taxes, education funding, and the budget surplus, Medicaid Expansion, our K-12 Science Standards, the climate, redistricting, and more.
