LWVCT’s Legislative Priorities for 2022:
1. Protect and Expand Voters’ Rights and Access. We must ensure the Early Voting Referendum is passed November 2022. |
2. Support the Citizens’/Clean Election Program and Campaign Finance Reform. |
3. Ensure Transparency. The public must have easy access to the workings of government via CT-N, universal broadband access, and active distribution of the information necessary for an informed citizenship. |
4. Reverse Climate Change. The American Rescue Plan Act Funds must be used to reduce harm and improve our air, land, and water. |
Early Voting Referendum language: "Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?”
