At the LWV Horry County May meeting we approved doing letter writing, one letter per week for Plastic Free July.  Our focus will be legislative change.  Since there are five Sundays in July, I thought starting out with some fresh background would be a good way to ease into the month.  This will be simple to do, and impactful.  Goffinet McLaren of the Chirping Birds Society shared this article from the New Yorker.  For our first week, we can all read the article.  https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2023/07/03/book-reviews-plastic-waste
