Tackling Climate Change: The Importance of Finding Bi-Partisan Solutions
On Monday, February 26, LWV Greenwich will welcome Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) and former Rep. Bob Inglis (R-SC) for a discussion about the importance of bi-partisan cooperation on the issue of climate change. Senator Murphy will talk about his legislative progress in tackling environmental challenges with his Republican colleagues in Congress, and Mr. Inglis, currently the Executive Director of RepublicEN, will discuss his evolution on this issue, along with his mission to re-frame the issue of climate change in a way that better engages fellow conservatives.
