The House Judiciary Committee Hearing for gun bills has been posted for Wednesday, March 13 starting at 3:00 PM in the House Lounge - directly behind the Chamber.

The LWVRI is a coalition partner of the RI Coalition Against Gun Violence (RICAGV), and along with RICAGV and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense supports two priority bills: H7373 (Safe Storage) and H7217 (Assault Weapons Ban).

If you'd like to submit testimony in writing you can email it to the Clerk of the Committee:

Subject Line: SUPPORT H7373 and H7217 (You can send a separate email for each bill if you wish)
Be sure to copy your state representative in the email, and for the greeting use “Honorable Chair Craven and Members of the Judiciary Committee:”
Also remember to close with your name and address.
