At our July 16 meeting we had a guest speaker:

Ron Merkord is an ICE observer who also works with 805Undocufund. He spoke to us about several incidents he has observed, including a gardener who was apprehended at a gas station and had to leave behind all his equipment. Ron was able to to contact the family and have the gentleman’s property returned home.

Ron's presentation was clear and compassionate, and delivered in such a way that even someone who favors ICE would perhaps listen.
