Important League-Wide Initiative

LWVUS has launched an important national study examining the Federal Judiciary system. This initiative was approved by delegates at the June 2024 LWVUS Convention and will run from February through April 14, 2025.

Why This Matters

This study gives our local League members the opportunity to better understand the Federal Judiciary process while providing a forum to discuss key concerns about the judicial system. Through our participation, our local League will contribute to potential national policy positions on issues of significant public interest, including:

• Judicial accountability
• Transparency
• Independence
• Ethics
