What's Up with the US Constitution?
Constitutional scholar Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox spoke about how vital it is to keep our Constitution alive and strong now more than ever. To view a recording of this event, go to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@leagueofwomenvotersoftheea3824
“I have been invited to communities across Connecticut,” says Gadkar-Wilcox, “and people have a lot of questions. It’s not just a document,” continues Gadkar-Wilcox, “it’s the foundation of our rights, freedoms, and justice. Protecting it means protecting the principles that ensure fairness, equality, and liberty for all. “
Professor Gadkar-Wilcox teaches constitutional law and related courses at Quinnipiac University. She also represents Connecticut’s 22nd State Senate District, serves as Executive Director of the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights, and is a Commissioner on the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).
