LWVNFC Registers New Student Voters at Wooster School- April 27, 2023

3 members of LWVNFC registering 3 students from Wooster School to vote.

On Thursday, April 27th, Wooster School’s Equity and Justice Center invited members of The League of Women Voters of Northern Fairfield County to campus to facilitate voting registration for eligible Upper School students.

Mary Consioli, LWVNFC Voter Service Chair, and Barbara Bruno, LWVNFC Treasurer, met with Ms. Bazemore, the Director of The Equity and Justice Center, Olivia Peck, EJC Equity and Justice Prefect, Sabrina Serpa-Smith, EJC Social Impact Prefect, and several student leaders to discuss the LWV’s purpose and the voting process as part of the organization’s initiative to empower young people to exercise their civic duty.

LWVNFC Registers New Student Voters at Immaculate Highschool - March 30, 2023

The most popular table in Immaculate High School’s Dining Hall on March 30th was crowded with students who were registering to vote for the first time! The event was a civics lesson that serves as an extension of what is taught in the students' social studies classes. Read the Immaculate Press Release HERE.
