The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven invites the public to a Meet & Greet featuring Hamden’s legislative candidates on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Miller Memorial Library, Thornton Wilder Hall, 2901 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden.

All candidates for the CT Legislature representing Hamden have been invited to attend.  Each candidate will have five minutes to speak. Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and learn where they stand on issues that matter to Hamden residents.

The decisions made in Hartford affect our schools, taxes, public safety, transportation, healthcare, and other issues that touch our daily lives. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the people seeking to represent Hamden before casting your ballot.

Whether you've already started thinking about the election or are still undecided, attending this event will help you become a more informed voter. Bring your questions, invite your neighbors, and take advantage of this chance to engage with the candidates in a nonpartisan community setting.
