Have your say on proposed congressional and legislative maps

Time Range For Action Alert:
October 22, 2021 to October 27, 2021

Public speakers at the hearings last month asked over and over for hearings after maps were released. The committee has now scheduled four hearings to take place next Monday and Tuesday, in person and virtually. Please make your voice heard on the maps!
The link to sign up to speak are:

  • Speaker Registration for October 26 at 5:30 PM, virtual only:  Congressional maps
  • Speaker Registration for October 26 at 3:00 PM at the Legislative Building Auditorium (in-person or virtual):  Congressional maps
  • Speaker Registration for October 25 at 5:30 PM, virtual only:  Legislative maps
  • Speaker Registration for October 25 at 3:00 PM at the Legislative Building Auditorium (in-person or virtual): Legislative maps

The online public comments portal for comments also remains open. There are two remote sites for each of the above hearings, but none are in the Triangle.  In addition, please post your comments/suggestions/concerns to the public portal even if you are going to speak at a hearing and email them directly to the committee members. Via the portal/email you are able to provide more feedback than the 2 minute limit for speaking allows, and it makes sure that the comments are on the public record for later use during litigation.
