LWVNC’s 39th Convention ­– "Powering and Protecting Our Democracy" – will take place May 19-21, 2023 in Charlotte. Note exact time of start and end will be available to attendees. Dr. Deborah Turner, the 20th president of the League of Women Voters of the United States, will speak at our Saturday evening banquet. You will receive more information soon about two important convention activities. We will be recognizing outstanding League members with awards, so look for criteria and nomination forms. In addition, Leagues will be invited to create and bring displays highlighting their activities and accomplishments, so that we can share best practices and brag a bit.
