You are likely aware that the North Carolina Supreme Court has suspended candidate filing for all offices and moved the 2022 primary elections to May 17, 2022.  This action was taken to provide time to consider the lawsuits challenging the heavily gerrymandered maps passed by the legislature.  The state Supreme Court also issued an expedited schedule for resolving this litigation.
