As you may know, NC citizens do not have the right to collect signatures to put constitutional amendments or new laws on the ballot.  The state legislature has sole power over proposing constitutional amendments or new laws.  We will discuss possible strategies and actions that we can take with the goal of expanding the rights of NC citizens to include citizen-initiated referenda and/or initiatives.

LWVODC Redistricting Reform Monthly Team meetings are held the 2nd. Monday of the month. We will meet at the Seymour Center, covid permitting, every month through at least December.
