Our Voter Services and VOTE411 teams need your help with the 2021 municipal elections in our counties. Durham will have a primary for Mayor and City Council on October 5th.  All three counties have general elections for similar positions on November 2nd. To help us succeed, we are holding a zoom-based voter services meeting to discuss strategies to amplify our message.

Last year we engaged nearly a fifth of our membership in our efforts to empower voters and defend democracy. We would like to keep the good times rolling!!! Please register at this link if you would like to join our August 10 discussion.

We need volunteers to help finalize questions to pose to candidates for local Mayors and town councils, help arrange candidate forums or meet and greet events, and to strategically place (and retrieve) VOTE411 road signs.  We would love to get some creative ideas for ways to advertise VOTE411 and encourage more citizens to vote. While we typically have a good voter turnout in the 4-year process for national elections, we do not do as well during the municipal elections.
