Join the League of Women Voters of PA and the Committee of 70 to learn how to run for, win, and serve as Judge of Elections in your precinct. The webinar Write-in to Win: Becoming Judge of Elections in Your Precinct is on Wednesday, September 10 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

The Judge of Elections is a crucial position for ensuring that elections run smoothly, and yet there are hundreds of vacancies for Judges of Elections across the Commonwealth.

An information session Behind the Ballot Fireside Chat: PA Supreme Court Retention Elections is being held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Those that register can choose either to attend in-person (Central High School, Philadelphia) or virtual.

The Good Trouble Lives On: Voting Rights Vigil is being held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Be Woke. Vote Mural located at the corner of W 5th Street and Avenue of the States, Chester, PA. This vigil is part of a national day of nonviolent action, one of thousands marking the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’ passing. We are hosting a Good Trouble Lives On to demand that Congress protect our freedom to vote, stand up to authoritarianism, and fight back against attacks on our communities.

Our League of Women Voters will have a voter information table on Saturday, June 14, 2025 atthe Delaware County Pride Festival being held from 1:00 PM from 6:00 PM at Upper Darby Township Building, 100 Garrett Road Upper Darby, PA 19082.

The festival will feature a variety of activities that involve all ages, kid-friendly activities, interactive games, live music, DJs, dancing, face painting, nail painting, and other fun activities. This festival is FREE to the community with no admission charge.

On Saturday, June 14, the League of Women Voters is coming together in partnership with democracy-focused organizations to rally against the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption within our government at the national level.

In Delaware County this NO KINGS rally is a national day of peaceful action and mass mobilization from Noon to 1:00 PM in front of the Delaware County Courthouse, 201 W. Front Street, Media.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County will have a voter information and environmental resources exhibit table on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:15 PM at the Delaware County Sustainability Conference being held at the Lazaretto Ballroom 99 Wanamaker Ave, Essington, PA 19029.

The Delaware County Office of Sustainability will be hosting the 4th Annual Delaware County Sustainability Conference the week of June 9th – 14th, 2025, as a hybrid event in response to the evolving needs of our community.

The third annual celebration of Pride in Delaware County will begin with a Pride Parade on Saturday, June 7 at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on State Street in Media, PA. This parade will celebrate and promote the rights and equality of the whole LGBTQQIA+ community.

Since the suffragists and founders of the League of Women Voters (LWV) marched for equal rights we encourage our members to march in the parade behind our LWV banner. This is an opportunity to come together and celebrate the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQQIA+ community while raising awareness of the ongoing struggles for LGBTQQIA+ equality and rights.
