League of Women Voters South County to Host “Find Your Civic Voice” Program on Protecting Free and Fair Elections
South County, RI — The League of Women Voters South County will hold its quarterly public meeting on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library.
This program is part of the League’s ongoing “Find Your Civic Voice” series and is free and open to the public.
Guest speaker Alicia Valletta of Common Cause will discuss current initiatives aimed at protecting free and fair elections. Her presentation will focus on efforts to safeguard voting rights, strengthen election integrity, and encourage civic participation.
The event will offer community members an opportunity to learn more about the challenges facing elections today and how citizens can play a role in protecting democratic processes.
The League of Women Voters of South County is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to strengthening democracy through voter education, civic engagement, and advocacy for fair and accessible elections.
