At a Special Meeting of the Providence City Council on March 14, 2022 the Committee on Ward Boundaries conveyed the Committee's recommendation for the establishment and revision of the City's Ward Boundaries. In addition to maps, the Committee on Ward Boundaries report on the committee website includes an "Explanation and Analysis of Decisions Made" which is worth reading to understand the complexities of drawing lines.

The City Council must now hold a public meeting and vote twice on the boundaries to finalize them.

A public hearing is scheduled in the Council Chambers on Monday, March 28 at 5 p.m.

Public comment may be in person or written. WRITTEN TESTIMONY must be received by the City Clerk at CITYCLERK [at] PROVIDENCERI.GOV no later than Friday, MARCH 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
