On March 26, 2022, Towards an Anti-Racist North Kingstown (TANK) held a rally, “From Selma to Today: Your Vote Matters”. Speakers included representatives from the RI ACLU and Students 4 Change; Senator Alana Dimario; Richard Martin from the East Providence High School History/Social Studies Department; and our own LWV-SC President Christine Martone. Members of the LWV-SC tabled with voter registration and League membership information.
