A course introducing the League of Women Voters, covering a brief history of the organization, its core missions and philosophy, and the current activities of the League nationally, in the state of RI, and in local chapters.
Guest Speakers: Drs. J. Mark Ryan and James Cowan leaders of the RI Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP). Hosted by the Providence LWV.
The League of Women Voters South County's Susan B. Wilson Civic Education Merit Award Ceremony will be held June 6th, 4:30 PM at the Governor's Reception Room in the RI State Capital.
