Should you have time to read the books for February (we aren't meeting in January) is either "A PROBLEM FROM HELL-AMERICA AND THE AGE OF GENOCIDE" by Samantha Power OR/AND "THE EDUCATION OF AN IDEALIST" by Samantha Power.
Because we did not meet in September I AM ASKING US TO READ / DISCUSS "The Night Watchman" by Louise Erdrich FOR NOVEMBER 4 and we will save the Samantha Power book for January!
"The Great Influenza" by John M. Barry (562 pages) He also wrote "The Rising Tide-The Mississippi Flood of 1927" and "Roger Williams and the Creation of the American Soul"
FOR FEBRUARY 4 we will be reading "THE GIVER OF STARS" by Jojo Moyes (Historical fiction) and it would be lovely IF we could all be together for that meeting in person, masked or unmasked.
