The League of Women Voters of South County invites the community to its Annual Tea Fundraiser on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peace Dale Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, 261 Columbia Street in Wakefield.

The event will honor Donna Walsh with the 2026 Community Impact Award in recognition of her decades of service to South County and the state of Rhode Island.

 The afternoon will also feature keynote speaker Philip Eil, a Providence-based author and an award-winning freelance journalist. His topic will be “News Media in the Age of Disinformation.”

Tickets are $50 plus $2 service fee and must be purchased online in advance.
