Patty MacLeish, LWVRI Communications Director, was feted at a luncheon on February 12th. Patty has been a member of the board since 2009 and has served as the editor of The Voter and was involved in the establishment of the League's Facebook presence and with the redesign of this website. Patty was also part of the committee that partnered with the Preservation Society of Newport County for celebrations of the 90th and 95th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment. She was also a board member of the LWV Newport County. Patty is moving to Cooperstown NY, where she and her husband lived for 20 years before moving to Newport.
