Racism and Redistricting event
Thursday, October 8, 2020 - 7:00pm to Friday, October 9, 2020 - 6:45pm

Join us on October 8 for a powerful discussion on the role systemic racism plays in silencing voters of color and what's at stake in this year's election.

*This is a FREE, live event broadcast on LWVUS's Facebook Page.*

On October 8, the League of Women Voters of the United States, along with LWV of Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia will host a discussion on the role systemic racism plays in silencing voters of color and how it’s shaped one of the most important processes for ensuring voters’ voices are heard. These community leaders will share information on the work being done to end some of the most egregious racial gerrymandering in the country—and what all is at stake in this year's election.

Join us to learn what you can do in your state and across the country to fight systemic racism by voting, being counted in the census, and getting involved in the redistricting process!
