LWVSC recently held two webinars looking at access to healthcare in South Carolina.  Recordings of those webinars and facts on healthcare access can be found on the state League's website.  

In preparation for the webinars, you may wish to listen to an an archived series of eleven short documentaries produced by Charlotte's WFAE radio station, 90.7, last year entitled, "The Price We Pay".  "Americans spend more on medical care than those in other wealthy countries, but we’re a lot sicker. The Price We Pay explores the reasons for that and possible solutions to our health care crisis."
