Come join the League of Women Voters as we welcome Maurice Pearl, The COMET CEO, who will speak about improvements made since the Penny Tax began in 2012, along with future direction.

Maurice Pearl is the executive director/CEO of The Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (The COMET). He comes to the role with more than 20 years of experience in public transportation, most recently serving in Lubbock, Texas. He will introduce himself and share more about his background. He will also speak about the progress and improvements The COMET has made since the Penny Tax funding of 2012 and provide insight into his vision for the future of the organization.
