Rally & March for Medicaid Expansion, a Living Wage & Get-Out-The-Vote

GATHER & RALLY 1:30 PM, SC Statehouse steps (Main & Gervais, Columbia, SC)
MARCH stepping off after 2PM.

Marching from SC Statehouse to SC Governor's Mansion (1.2 miles) where we will demand Medicaid Expansion and more. Non-marchers are welcome to join us at the SC Statehouse, the Governor's mansion (2:30-45pm). 

Poverty is on the ballot; Medicaid Expansion is on the ballot via the Governor's race. Over 517,000 South Carolinians are without health coverage and two SC Governors in a row have refused to expand Medicaid. One million South Carolinians earn less than $15 an hour. 41% of South Carolinians are poor or low income, 2 million out of a population of 5 million.  But that 40% can also change an election if they vote demanding change.  Time to Get out the Vote (GOTV)!
