The League of Women Voters of Ventura County has a 60 year history of civic engagement.
The League of Women Voters, founded in 1920 after ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, is a non-partisan organization dedicated to registering voters, educating them about the voting process and helping them become informed about the candidates' positions and the issues being raised so they can vote wisely.
The League does not support or oppose any particular candidate or political party.
