Bridgeport Generation Now has been leading the effort to end the illegal practice of ballot harvesting in Bridgeport and to pass reforms to our state's absentee voting system to protect voters and enforce election laws. Watch the November 10 presentation to learn more about the current reality in Bridgeport and possible solutions to create a system of mail-in voting that puts the safety of voters and the integrity of our democracy first.
The Southeastern Connecticut League of Women Voters covers the towns of Baltic, Centerbrook, Chester,Clinton, East Haddam, East Lyme, Deep River, Gales Ferry, Groton, Ivoryton, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lyme, Mystic, New London, Oakdale, Old Lyme, Pawcatuck, Preston, Stonington, Waterfo
Two community listening sessions are planned as part of the Norwalk Mayoral transition process:
Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Norwalk City Hall community room, and
Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at the South Norwalk (SoNo) Branch Library.
Residents are invited to offer ideas and feedback on Norwalk’s future.
