LWVCT Signs on to Protect Immigrants in Connecticut
As a nonpartisan, pro-democracy organization, the League is deeply alarmed by the ongoing ICE detentions, which too often fly in the face of due process and other fundamental rights. So earlier this month, League of Women Voters of Connecticut signed on to a letter with 91 other Connecticut organizations to express urgency and demand that Governor Lamont and Legislative Leadership take action to protect our immigrant communities during the upcoming special session.

This year, the LWV Greenwich is pleased to announce that it will conduct five (5) debates for this fall’s municipal election. Candidates from both major parties for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Estimate and Taxation, Town Clerk, and Tax Collector have agreed to participate. ADVANCE REGISTRATION WILL BE CUT OFF WHEN ROOM CAPACITY IS REACHED.

on Sundays, September 28, October 5, and October 12 for voter registration from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The Farmers Market is located at Sherman Green in downtown Fairfield.
