TCSYale: The Basics - Sept. 13, 2025 in Greenwich, CT
Have you ever considered running for office? Or becoming involved in campaign management or community leadership? You should!!
Unsure?
The Campaign School at Yale University will help you decide through a one-day training program at the Greenwich YWCA on September 13. LWV Greenwich is a co-sponsor.
As part of the continuing series "Let’s Talk About Digital Threats to Democracy", the Leagues of Women Voters of Alaska and Colorado present their June Topic: How AI Could Save Our Democratic Institutions with author Beth Simone Noveck.
It’s a basic premise of the League of Women Voters’ work: the US cannot have a healthy democracy unless all members of our community can live freely and access their fundamental rights. Unfortunately, over the past few years, the League has tracked a surge in legislative and administrative attacks chipping away at the rights of LGBTQIA+ community members, particularly transgender individuals. This presents a threat to both personal safety and, on a broader level, democracy.
LWV Greenwich 2025 Legislators' Wrap Up on Thursday, July 31, 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Burning Tree Country Club.
This is your chance to hear from our state elected officials about issues and legislation affecting Greenwich.
The program will be followed by audience Q & A.
Civics on the Road is coming up this Saturday, all are invited to join for an afternoon of friendly conversation and delicious food and drinks provided by David Alan Hospitality.
YOU'RE INVITED! This is a chance for us to welcome our newer members and to help them find a niche within the League.
