League members, guests and members of the public are invited to Cantigny Park for a presentation by Martina Hone on the impact of the 2020 Census in Illinois.  

Tina Hone is Chief Impact Officer at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, where she oversees all economic empowerment programs, including Workforce Development, Financial Wellness, and Business & Entrepreneurship training. A native south side Chicagoan, Tina recently returned home after over two decades in Washington, DC where she held a range of positions related to civil rights, social justice and economic opportunity. Most recently, she was Policy Director on the Education & Workforce Committee in the US House of Representatives. She previously served as Associate Under Secretary for Economic Affairs at the US Department of Commerce, where she oversaw national outreach for the Decennial Census, focusing especially on reaching the hardest to count communities.
