Winfield and Wayne Townships will have referenda in November to establish 708 Mental Health Boards.  These were put on the ballot by citizen petition.  An information session will be held to educate voters. The session will be both in-person and on Zoom.  When you register, you will receive the Zoom link if you want to watch it on Zoom. The event will be recorded for later viewing.
 
Speakers will be:
 
  • Cheryl Potts, Executive Director of Oak Park 708 Board
  • Kim Zoeller, Executive Director Ray Graham Associates
  • Geri Kerger, Executive Director of NAMI DuPage
  • Jane Hodgkinson, former executive director of the Western DuPage Special Recreation District.

The League of Women Voters of Wheaton is co-hosting this program with the Mental Health Boards of DuPage and Bloomingdale Township Community.

The Wheaton LWV does not have a position on 708 Mental Health Boards and is co-hosting this event to provide the public with information to help voters decide how they want to vote on the referendum.
