Become an observer!

Monitoring local government meetings is a long-established practice of the League. Trained observers at our local units of government such as the DuPage County Board, City Council, Board of Education, Park District, Library, etc., help inform citizens about current issues and their governments to empower community members to take action and help promote government transparency and accountability. As a trained Observer you will attend or watch a public governmental meeting, note what happens and report back to the League and the community.
