“The Role of Modern Policing in a Divided Country”

The Board is excited to welcome everyone to our opening Fall Meeting, which will be held in the Goodwin Forum of Concord Free Public Library and by Zoom on September 27th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. We will hear from Concord’s and Carlisle’s Police Chiefs: Tom Mulcahy and Andrew Amendola, respectively, who will speak about “The role of modern policing in a divided country.” The Chiefs are excited to speak to us and will welcome questions after addressing the gathering. Please remember to bring a check for your membership renewal, a friend who might wish to join, and your usual bright engagement. The meeting will be hybrid, and Minuteman Media Network will be filming the event for those who cannot attend. Light refreshments will be served. For more info, contact Melissa Saalfield at events [at] lwvcc.org or see the article in the Concord Bridge.
