What is the goal of incarceration? How do prisons in the Commonwealth achieve these goals? Do prisons in the Commonwealth prepare “returning citizens” for a healthy and productive life when they re-enter their home communities?
These are among the questions that a vibrant panel, comprised of a group dedicated to working with inmates, three freshman State Representatives intimately connected with prison life, and the League of Women Voters that monitors activities with the legislature.
