The Montana Supreme Court is the highest court in Montana and makes decisions on interpretation of Montana's Constitution.  Two seats on the 7-member court are up for election this fall.  One Justice is running unopposed.  The other seat has two candidates running:   Mike Black, Montana Supreme Court Candidate and Laurie McKinnon, Associate Justice of the Montana Supreme Court and Montana Supreme Court Candidate.   The Montana League of Women Voters hosted and moderated a virtual candidate forum with these candidates on October 1, 2020.  Questions were solicited from the public ahead of time, and were integrated with questions from two non-partisan sources:  The Brennan Center for Justice and the Kent County Bar Association.
