Curious about how your local government works?

The League of Women Voters of Billings is offering a series of three educational events and a social event to discuss what we learned: 

July 11 -  How do we pay for everything and who decides? This will focus largely on the city budget, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and discussion on One Big Sky funding.

  Andy Zoeller – City of Billings Finance Director will speak on how the city budget works. TIF funding and the budget.

  Randy Hafer  - Founder and President of High Plains Architect, will talk about Tax Increment Funding (TIF) and how it works for a business owner.

  Pam Ellis – League member, discussion on One Big Sky funding.
