We the people of Montana grateful to God for the quiet beauty of our state, the grandeur of our mountains, the vastness of our rolling plains, and desiring to improve the quality of life, equality of opportunity and to secure the blessings of liberty for this and future generations do ordain and establish this constitution.

So begins our state constitution, ratified by the people of Montana in June 1972.  Join us for a guided journey through the Constitution of the State of Monana and a discussion of its impacts on all of us.  An ideal overview for longtime residents and new arrivals to Montana!

Pat O'Brien Cotter, Retired Montana Supreme Court Justice will lead this discussion.
