Please join us on January 30th for movie night at the Art House Cinema. LWV Billings, in conjunction with the Black Heritage Foundation of Billings, will be hosting a showing of John Lewis: Good Trouble to kick off Black History Month, celebrate the League's 104th birthday, and get the word out about the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
The John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act was reintroduced in the 118th Congress on September 19, 2023, in the House of Representatives by Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL-7).
This will be a free showing, available to the public. Doors open at 6, and show starts at 6:30. Come early, grab a bite to eat or a drink at Reels Pub inside the Art House, and socialize before the movie.
