The League of Women Voters of Bucks County is:
DEDICATED to providing voter services, educating the public and advocating for issues that matter to our community. We work to keep communities informed and engaged and to protect the freedom to vote.
DEVOTED to supporting and defending our democracy. Since our founding in 1920, we have fought to improve our government and engage all Americans in the decisions that impact their lives. We are a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that operates at national, state and local levels through state and local leagues. We never endorse or oppose political parties or candidates but we are political. View our nonpartisan policy here.
COMMITTED to diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and in practice. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the organization’s current and future success in engaging all individuals, households, communities, and policy makers in creating a more perfect democracy. The League of Women Voters has two separate and distinct roles:
- Voter Service/Citizen Education: we present unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues.
- Action/Advocacy: we are also nonpartisan, but, after study, we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.
