Curious about how your local government works?

The League of Women Voters of Billings is offering a series of three educational events and a social event to discuss what we learned: 

July 24. Getting Involved in Local Government - How can I have a voice?
This will focus on the various ways citizens can get involved without running for office: public hearings, task forces, advisory boards, the email system. Although information on how to run for city council will be included, it won't be the focus.
