The League of Women Voters of Rhode Island is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy. Through education, advocacy, and civic engagement, LWVRI works to ensure that every Rhode Islander can participate fully in the democratic process.

 LWVRI is committed to building and sustaining a culture where diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging are not just principles, but lived practices. We honor and value the richness of our community and our members, and we work to ensure that all people feel welcomed, respected, and empowered to participate fully. Aligned with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy adopted by the LWVUS Board on January 21, 2024.
