Checklist for Voting from Home
Make sure you are registered to vote. If not, register to vote online.

Starting on Jan. 6, 2021, complete an online “Vote By Mail” application

After Feb. 25th when you receive your “Mail in Ballot”, fill it out as soon as possible.
Put it in the postage-paid envelope and be sure to sign the envelope with the signature you use to vote. Mail through the USPS.

Track your ballot online.

Tell your friends you voted.
Voters will be able to drop off their vote by mail ballots at a secure drop box at the DuPage County Wheaton facility (24 hour cameras will be posted) as well as at all early voting locations and on election day at polling locations. Be sure to sign the outside of the envelope.
Changed your mind about Vote By Mail? You can vote in person at any Early Voting Site or on Election Day at your polling site. Bringing your VBM Ballot and envelope is preferable. If you do not bring your VBM Ballot and envelope to early voting, you will still be able to vote. If you do not bring in your VBM Ballot and envelope on Election Day, you will cast a provisional vote.
