The Newport County League is working with Lynne Tungett, owner and editor of Newport This Week, and other local civic and media organizations, to organize virtual forums to help voters learn more about Newport County candidates for state and local office. The other cooperating entities are: Alliance for a Livable Newport, Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, WADK, Newport Buzz, and PEG RI-TV. The first forum was September 10, and there will be 4 more before the General Election.
