Make your voice heard! Take action on issues you care about like defending democracy by spending an hour every month talking with or writing messages to your legislators.
Our League is partnering with the League of Women Voters Glen Ellyn (LWVGE) to expand its Defend Democracy Drop-In program. You’ll learn about the pro-democracy issues supported by the League of Women Voters. Bring your cell phones or laptops/tablets so you can make calls or send emails to your legislators at the event.
The facilitators will provide background information on the issues as well as offer talking points for phone calls and for email and postcard messages. Postcards and stamps will be available for those who want to purchase on site (under $1).
League members and their guests will be able to attend one of two sessions this month:

- Wednesday, February 21, 7 p.m., Wheaton Public Library
