Elaine Francis, on our Voter Services team, has organized the procurement of several copies of "I Can't Wait to Vote" by Tiffany Lanier. The story is a great introduction to civic engagement, understanding representation, and how all of us have a say in our local, state, and national government.

Copies of the book will be placed in Alachua County elementary school libraries as well as the Alachua County Public Library branches. 

Stefanie Gadaleon, president of the LWV UF Chapter, is coordinating a reading of the book at Girls Place on April 24 at 3:30 p.m. vote [at] lwv-alachua.org (Contact Stefanie) to volunteer.
