Truth, Transparency, and Justice in Our Democracy

Join Carroll College for a special evening of film and conversation on Wednesday, March 18 in the lower campus center. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a screening of the documentary Dark Money, which explores the influence of undisclosed political spending and its impact on American elections and public trust.

At 7:30 p.m., stay for a panel discussion featuring distinguished Montana leaders and experts, including Gov. Marc Racicot, Gov. Steve Bullock, and Jeff Mangan, founder of the Transparent Election Initiative (TEI). Panelists will reflect on the film and discuss transparency, accountability, and the role of citizens in shaping a healthy democracy.

This event is hosted by Carroll College Alumni and Community Engagement Office, the Political Science Department, and the League of Women Voters of the Helena Area.

A second screening of this film will take place at the Myrna Loy Center on March 31.
