Dr. Cathy Whitlock, lead author of the 2017 Montana Climate Assessment, will present the findings on May 24, at 6:30pm, at the Billings Public Library.  Join us for information about how the changing climate is affecting Montana and light refreshments. Cathy is among the newest members of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, one of the highest honors a scientist can receive. According to the academy’s announcement, published May 1, members are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research, and membership is widely accepted as a mark of excellence in science.
